Responsibilities

  • Government Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and cost accounting standards while mitigating financial risks.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets, long-term financial models, and track project performance using Estimate at Completion (EAC).
  • Invoice & Reporting Management: Prepare invoices, monthly financial reports, and provide actionable insights for leadership.
  • Proposal Pricing Support: Collaborate on pricing strategies for new proposals and contract modifications.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with program, contracts, and legal teams to align financial practices with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years' experience, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and support strategic decision-making required.

  • Proficiency in excel required.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting rules, FAR/DFARS/CFR compliance, and EAC methodology.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, ERP systems, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and influence decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
