Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:

  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives.
  • Lead requirements gathering using various approaches such as workshops, use cases, user stories, context and process diagrams, and stakeholder analysis.
  • Analyze and understand business requirements, business processes, functional requirements, and system capabilities.

Solution Recommendations and Implementation:

  • Recommend solutions to improve business processes and data through new or existing technology.
  • Configure ERP financial modules (such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Project Management and Accounting) to align with business requirements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and integration developers on functional and technical requirements to implement enhancements or application integrations.

Project Management and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Aid in defining project scope, objectives, requirements, dependencies, and technical feasibility.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and vendor-managed solutions.
  • Plan and lead the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Expertise in Project Accounting:

  • Provide expertise in Government Finance and Project Accounting, understanding government regulations, financial reporting, and project management best practices.
  • Work with the ATCC GOVCON team to understand their business processes and requirements related to project accounting, grant management, fund accounting, compliance, government contracts, and project management.

Documentation and Training:

  • Create deliverables for business analysis and functional design for application development, system integration, and data migration initiatives.
  • Develop organizational change management frameworks and conduct user acceptance training.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, including 0-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft D365 is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), specifically focused on the Projects and Accounting modules, is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience as a Finance and Accounting Lead for clients in Government Contracts. Additionally, experience in the manufacturing or contract manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of government accounting practices, regulations, types of government contracts, and project management methodologies preferred.
  • Background in finance and accounting, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance, cost accounting standards (CAS), and federal acquisition regulations (FAR) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in writing functional and technical documentation for a development team.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
  • A solid background in operating within a cloud-based IT environment, showcasing proficiency in utilizing SaaS solutions and cloud-native platforms for supporting financial and project operations is essential.

Benefits

The expected salary for this position is $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
