ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager who excels in technology integrations, Agile methodology, and process improvements to drive digital transformation and Technical IT Project Management. PMP certification preferred. Some travel may be required to Manassas, VA area.  

 

This fully remote cross functional Senior IT Project Manager will strategically lead and oversee complex IT projects from conception through to completion, with a specific focus on exceptional Technical IT Project Management. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery and will ensure that all schedule, quality, and budget requirements are met, driving successful project outcomes, and communicating with project stakeholders.

 

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with experience in technology integrations, digital transformation, Agile methodology and implementing process improvements. PMP certification and ERP experience, as well as Microsoft Dynamics, data warehouse projects and application development are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Technology Integrations and Digital Transformation: Senior IT Project Manager with expertise in technology integrations, digital transformation, Agile methodology, and implementing process improvements.

 

Project Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closing.

 

Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring project goals are met within schedule, quality, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field and 8 or more years' experience, including 0-2 years' supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • MS Dynamics, application development and ERP experience highly preferred
  • Proven experience in managing all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • In-depth understanding and proven application of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to lead project progress through milestones, budgetary guidelines, and performance indicators.
  • Extensive experience in risk, issue, and change management, including effectively navigating and resolving complex change processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in resource allocation and daily project progress management.
  • Travel may be required, as needed.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
