ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking an onsite Lab Operations Supervisor to help oversee MSAT molecular and microbiology in Manassas, VA. This team focuses on developing and implementing advanced processes and technologies to enhance the production, quality, and regulatory compliance of products. Our ideal candidate will have prior lead or supervisory experience, manufacturing experience, and expertise in molecular biology techniques including PCR and DNA extractions. Bacteriology experience is preferred.
As a Supervisor of Lab Operations, you'll oversee daily activities of functional lab units, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to schedules. Utilize your scientific and technical expertise to train and provide direction to laboratory staff, resolve problems, and mitigate risks. Additionally, you'll play a key role in vendor negotiations, implementing new lab services, and providing valuable input to support decision-making processes.

Study Design & Technology Transfer: Working with the group SME, coordinate the study design for new equipment, products, and processes. Facilitate technology transfer from R&D areas to the bioproduction groups. Oversee the designation of tasks and labor to lab staff on these projects.
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
