Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Biologist for Gaithersburg, MD with background in biology, ability to pipette, and good aseptic techniques.  

We're looking for a Biologist to manufacture biological materials and standards. You'll work under minimal guidance to support the production of biological cultures and derivative products, as well as contribute to data collection and recording. 

• Lab Duties: Perform bioprocessing duties with clinical sample and entering into our system by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other controlled documents. Maintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.
• Documentation: Maintain production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Revise and develop SOPs and work instructions. Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation. 
• Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Work towards subject matter expertise of various cell lines and organisms, and handle challenges in alignment with organizational policies. 

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent 
• Hands on laboratory experience with clinical or biological sample processing and aseptic technique required 
• Adhering to strict quality measures in a laboratory setting
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures
