Overview

ATCC is seeking a direct hire full time Project Coordinator for our marketing department to work a hybrid schedule based out of Manassas, VA.  The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing projects and program teams in the coordination, execution, and completion of various marketing projects and initiatives ensuring consistency with marketing strategy, commitments and goals and the critical deadlines are met.

 

The Project Coordinator for the Marketing Team must have prior administrative experience and some background in marketing.  This role will help the marketing team move projects forward by assisting with campaigns, coordinating activities for the department in Monday.com, and generally assist the department.  Monday.com experience and some project management expereince is preferred but not required.  Apply directly for immediate consideration. 

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor projects from initiation through delivery applying organizational policy and procedure including planning, directing, scheduling, and monitoring of budget and spending.
  2. Draft and prepare project plans, document project progress, and prepare reports for internal or external project stakeholders and Senior Management.
  3. Review project requirements, identify interdependencies with internal and external departments or service providers, delegate responsibilities, and ensure that work is completed. Elevate delays or concerns to project management team.
  4. Examine project proposals, ensure projects adhere to the contract language, and deliver and track project amendment documentation.
  5. Provide technical support including project scheduling and planning, earned value management, budget review/cost analysis, and change of scope impact analysis.
  6. Organize tasks and provide professional administrative support to one or more project teams.
  7. Maintain documentation such as contracts, invoices, or payment records.
  8. Schedule and prepare for cross-functional meetings to facilitate collaboration.
  9. Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data which answers can be readily obtained.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years' experience or equivalent experience as adminstrative assistant or project coordinator in a marketing capacity.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to drive projects towards completion.
