    Founded in 1925, ATCC is a non-profit organization with a mission to acquire, authenticate, preserve, develop, standardize, and distribute biological materials and information for the advancement and application of scientific knowledge.

    The Global Digital Marketing Lead will act as ATCC’s webmaster, and main point of contact for website administration tasks, content authoring, formatting, user administration, and content best practices. The Global Digital Marketing Lead will work with internal and external partners to create, manage and execute content on the ATCC website in alignment with the overall digital, brand and corporate strategy. Responsible for leading the website redesign initiative and supporting analytics and reporting insights on content, SEO and other digital activities performance. Brings a strategic view to the future of ATCC’s web presence while driving tactical implementation of the global digital plans and responsible to lead and maintain company policies and governance of web processes and content generation.


    Discretion in handling assigned responsibilities, including the ability to resolve problems and exercise good judgment while maintaining confidentiality. Functions are to be completed in a timely manner with acceptable quality.


    1. Provide guidance/expertise to implement website with industry leading customer experience.
    2. Drive and manage content plan. Audit and analyze current digital content, identify gaps and create content plan to support content strategy and buyer’s journey.
    3. Provide content governance in Sitecore, following approval processes, SEO optimization best practice, tags and other agreed-upon steps along the content creation and publishing process.
    4. Collaborate with technical writers, designers, and brand/marketing managers to initiate, write, edit and approve content as needed, insuring proper expression of the ATCC brand message.
    5. Serve as the Sitecore content administrator providing content governance ensuring all content meets the ATCC quality standard and that SEO best practices are followed.
    6. Create and update reports on content performance, to support content creation plan and showing ROI.
    7. Assist in the execution of projects associated with digital marketing strategies and lead generation objectives including QA testing and follow-up to resolve issues with web development teams.


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Sciences or related field.
    • Minimum of Seven (7) years’ experience managing content for large scale websites via a Content Management System (CMS); SiteCore preferred.
    • HTML and CSS knowledge.
    • Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience with digital marketing and website analytics.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

    • Understanding of B2B commerce fundamentals (supplier, sales, customer and brand).
    • Ability to work with limited supervision in the areas of website content management and organization.
    • Solid working knowledge of SEO, Email Marketing, and Paid Search best practices and social content platforms
    • Proven experience with project management of major Digital Marketing projects, including organization skills and cross functional leadership abilities.
    • Passionate about current and emerging internet marketing technologies.
    • Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; able to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to resolve problems and external partners to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.

    • Position-relevant computer experience including Microsoft.
    • Follow all company safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and policies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in life science industry.
    • Strong knowledge of SiteCore content management system.
    • Strong knowledge of Insite Commerce system.
    • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics.
    • HTML and JavaScript knowledge.
