    Founded in 1925, ATCC is a non-profit organization with a mission to acquire, authenticate, preserve, develop, standardize, and distribute biological materials and information for the advancement and application of scientific knowledge.  


    The Marketing Coordinator will assist the marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities, working closely to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and ultimately generate new business leads. This is an entry level marketing position with expose to multifaceted areas of our company in which full training is provided.


    As a Marketing Coordinator, you will also be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of our national and regional events. This includes assisting with logistical planning and support of large multi-segment trade-shows as well as supporting sales and marketing efforts at smaller events. This position is critical in planning and facilitating weekly events/trade-shows across the nation. 


    1. Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
    2. Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
    3. Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
    4. Participates in all aspects of events planning and execution including event logistics, vendor selection and coordination, sponsorships, event promotion, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up.
    5. Assist with webinar and other demand generation programs.
    6. Support digital marketing campaigns including SEO, email campaigns, online and social media advertising, and online content distribution.
    7. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
    8. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    9. Support creation of product/customer videos in collaboration with other marketing team members.
    10. Coordinate and track budgets, project timelines, and production schedules.
    11. Measure and report on performance of different marketing programs and campaigns.


    Education and Experience:

    • 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or related experience
    • BA or BS in biology, life sciences, marketing, or related field

    • Position-relevant computer experience including Microsoft Office
    • Follow all company safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and policies.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple deadlines
    • Comfortable picking up new technologies
    • Ability to balance multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Enjoys interfacing with customers 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM
    • Understanding of graphic design programs
    • Website development experience
