Founded in 1925, ATCC is a non-profit organization with a mission to acquire, authenticate, preserve, develop, standardize, and distribute biological materials and information for the advancement and application of scientific knowledge.
The Biologist performs a variety of laboratory procedures requiring accuracy, judgment and technical proficiency under minimal supervision. The incumbent complies with all ATCC corporate policies and procedures.
The Biologist/Microbiologist will work closely with the Standards Resource Center (SRC) Research and Development team. They will be involved in the implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects and initiatives ensuring consistency with SRC business needs, company strategy, commitments and goals. Working closely with the SRC staff, the biologist/microbiologist will be involved in a variety of laboratory activities.
