    Founded in 1925, ATCC is a non-profit organization with a mission to acquire, authenticate, preserve, develop, standardize, and distribute biological materials and information for the advancement and application of scientific knowledge. 

    Responsible for analyzing and improving solutions for business processes and system issues enabling positive business outcomes. Responsible for gathering business requirements, troubleshooting issues, and managing testing and application problem-solving of enterprise module(s).  




    1. Identifies impacted cross functional parties, business partners, and resources required.
    2. Develops a project charter to include the scope, business sponsor, business subject matter experts, and anticipated quantifiable benefits.
    3. Work with end users to understand and assess business flows, processes, specific issues and requirements.
    4. Understand end to end business processes and integration points. Develop process maps and test plans.
    5. Works on projects and support the coordination and completion of detailed project plans. Communicates progress, issues and barriers to internal and external customers
    6. Identifies quantifiable process reengineering opportunities that do not require systems automation.
    7. Develops business requirements and transitions them to appropriate Systems Analyst for UAT/QA Testing, to include use cases.
    8. Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
    9. Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.

    10. Other ancillary duties as assigned


    Education and Experience:

    • Requires a BS/BA degree, three (3) – five (5) years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations; or any combination of education and experienced, which would provide an equivalent background.
    • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent listening skills and presentation skills to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively.
    • Position-relevant computer experience including Microsoft Office, Visio, and procurement systems software.
    • Follow all company safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and policies.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to lead and facilitate large meeting settings with cross functional partners (partnering, conflict resolution/management, consultative attitude/approach) preferred.
    • Project Management Certification.
